Les Hittites \u00e9tait un peuple guerrier qui ont v\u00e9cu sur ce site entre 2000 et 1000 an avant JC. 6km de remparts prot\u00e9geait la ville avec une lev\u00e9e de 75m de base et 15m de haut. D&rsquo;accord, il ne reste plus grand chose mais la porte des lions est l&rsquo;ouvrage les mieux conserv\u00e9s et le yerkapi (couloir souterrain) est superbe \u00e0 voir pour sa r\u00e9alisation : il faut se rappeler que l&rsquo;on est 2000 avant JC et que les moyens de levage n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas les notres.
