Ils \u00e9taient en conflit avec les calchaquies. Les ruines que nous avons visit\u00e9s datent du IX et X\u00e8me S. Le village \u00e9tait construit sur des terrasses en palier. Les Quilm\u00e8s ont r\u00e9sist\u00e9s pendant 130 ans aux conquistadors mais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 vaincus en 1667. Les derniers survivants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9port\u00e9s \u00e0 Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>On ne voit que 10% du site actuellement mais on remarque bien la construction en cercle des maisons qui \u00e9taient en pierre, le toit en chaume recouvert de boue. Au centre de la cour, des sculptures monumentales de Pachamama et d&rsquo;Inti ( le soleil).
